Sleepwalkers | 2017
Presented at UDEN TITEL 17, Kunsthal Nord, Aalborg, curated by Henrik Broch-Lips
Water pipes, watches, water pump
In the
installation Sleepwalkers the history of Kunsthal Nord as a power plant
is taken as a point of departure. A string of sculptures using the
sleepwalker as basic figure is attatched to the piping system so that
warm water circulates inside the sculptural bodies. Through these means
ideas of flow are set in motion, including those of economy (liquid
assets), images (streaming) and time (time flows).
